Acceptable Use Policy

Babooma makes advertising videos for real products. To keep it safe for customers, viewers and the people whose likeness is used, the following is not allowed.

Not allowed

  1. People without consent. Photos or voices of a real person who has not given written consent; photos of children; photos of public figures, celebrities or politicians; making a presenter look like a specific real person you are not allowed to represent.
  2. False claims. Prices, discounts, specifications, certificates, awards or reviews that are untrue; medical, health or financial results the product cannot prove; fake scarcity.
  3. Prohibited goods and services: weapons, ammunition and explosives; drugs and drug paraphernalia; prescription medicines; tobacco, e-cigarettes and vapes; adult content and services; gambling; counterfeit goods; financial schemes, crypto investment offers; anything illegal in the country where you sell or publish.
  4. Restricted categories — only with true, provable claims and the legally required warnings: alcohol, dietary supplements, cosmetics with effect claims, medical devices. We may refuse these at our discretion.
  5. Harmful content: hate, harassment, violence, discrimination, political campaigning, misleading news or content that imitates official bodies.
  6. Other people's rights: logos, trademarks, photos, music or texts you are not allowed to use.
  7. Abuse of the Service: removing or hiding AI labels where labelling is required; creating accounts to collect free videos or referral bonuses; attacking, overloading or reverse-engineering the Service; sharing API keys outside your workspace; reselling the Service without a partner agreement.

What we do

Uploads and scripts are checked automatically; some are reviewed by people. We may refuse to generate a video, remove a public video page, cancel bonuses or suspend an account. For a generation we refuse under this policy the credit is returned unless the abuse is deliberate or repeated.

Report a problem

If you see a Babooma video that breaks this policy or uses your likeness without consent, write to [email protected] with the link. We act on reports about the use of a person's likeness within 2 business days.
