Post videos to your Telegram channel or group

Make the bot an admin of your channel or group and publish videos with a button, now or on schedule. 3 min.

You need a connected Telegram first: see Connect Telegram. You must be the owner or an admin of the workspace.

Add the bot to a channel or group

  1. In the cabinet, open Workspace settings → General and find the block Telegram channels and groups.
  2. Press Add to a channel (or Add to a group). Telegram opens and asks where to add @baboomabot.
  3. Pick your channel or group and confirm the bot as an admin. Keep the right Post messages on.
  4. The bot writes to you in a private chat: "… is connected to …". If you have several workspaces, it asks which one: press its name.
  5. Back in the cabinet, press Refresh list: the channel is in the block.

You can also do it by hand in Telegram: channel → Administrators → Add admin → find @baboomabot.

Publish a video

  1. Open a finished video in My videos.
  2. In the Publish to Telegram block, pick the channel or group. The post text is already filled from the post texts; change it if you like.
  3. A button under the post is optional: for example Buy with a link to the product page. The link from the product is filled in for you.
  4. Choose when:
    • Now: the post is up within a minute.
    • At a date and time: the post goes out then.
    • Add to queue: one video a day at the queue time (10:00 by default). Each new video takes the next free day.
  5. Press Publish or Schedule. The list under the form shows the status and an Open post link when it's up.

A waiting post can be canceled with Cancel. The queue time of each channel is set in Workspace settings → General.

At the end of each post the bot adds a small line Video: Babooma. Once you have paid for a package, it is your invite link and brings you credits (see Invite). Turn it off in Workspace settings → General, block Telegram channels and groups.

Publish from the bot

When a video is ready, the bot message has Publish to "…" buttons for your channels. One press posts the video with its text right away.
